Position Title: District Superintendent

Brodhead School District is an innovative school district of approximately 973 students located in southern Wisconsin. The District
has a budget of approximately 13.5 million and employs 81 teachers, 56 support staff, and 9 Administrators. The District operates a PK-5 Elementary School, a 6-8 Middle School and a 9-12 High School, all conveniently located on a walker-friendly campus with athletic and playground facilities in the center. The District is renowned for its service-learning projects and required senior project.

The City of Brodhead and its 3,200 residents are located in an ideal location 30 miles south of Madison, and 20 miles from Janesville and Beloit.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must hold a Wisconsin Superintendent-District Administrator’s license or provide proof of eligibility for one. Successful candidates will provide evidence of significant successful experience as both a classroom teacher and Administrator. Experience as a building principal is a plus. The District seeks proven leadership in financial management, instructional programming, community engagement, and technology applications.

The School District of Brodhead is looking for a full-time school counselor that possesses the knowledge, abilities, skills, and attitudes necessary to plan, organize, implement and evaluate a comprehensive, developmental, results-based school counseling program. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of academic and career planning, experience working in a PBIS school and have knowledge and experience supporting mental health and provision of targeted social emotional interventions.

Rate of pay:          $11.50/hour

Position Title:    Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Location:             District-wide

Description:

The School District of Brodhead is looking for a qualified, enthusiastic part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (15 hours per week). The ideal Occupational Therapy Assistant has a unique understanding of treatment strategies to use in order to develop, restore, and improve the sensory, motor, and psychological functioning of the students whom they serve.

 

Licenses:

  1. O052 - Occupational Therapy Assistant License

Requirements:

Must meet the legal requirements to practice as an occupational therapy assistant including graduation from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program and current state licensure. In order to practice in the public school setting, DPI certification is also mandatory.

The Brodhead School District is looking for part-time, enthusiastic Para-Educator Substitutes. Candidates will be filling in for Special Education and/or General Education Para-Educators.
