The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is extending flexibilities to allow free meals to continue to be available to all children throughout the entire 2020-2021 school year. This allows all children age 18 and under to receive free breakfast and lunch each day school is in session.  The following are options regarding lunch distribution. - If school is being held in person in your child’s building, breakfast and lunch will be served free of charge to all Brodhead Cardinal students. Students choosing to learn virtually will have the option to come to pick up a meal from their school building.  If you are interested in this, please contact Dana Wyttenbach, Food Service Director 608-897-2155 or dwyttenbach@brodhead.k12.wi.us.  We also offer breakfast and lunch to anyone who is 18 and under outside of our school district.  Contact our Food Service Director for information on that as well.

Food Service Info:

Since many grants and school aid programs are related to family income, we strongly encourage families to fill out a free/reduced lunch form. Just because you fill out a form it does not mean you are obligated to have your children take free or reduced lunch. However, should parents chose to take advantage of free or reduced lunches, our computerized system does not display the fact that a student's lunch was free, reduced, or full price. A free/reduced lunch form can be filled out any time during the year.
